Curly Tail is a realistic and extremely catchy goby imitation from Bait Breath. As you know, gobies massively populate many reservoirs, being almost always a tasty delicacy for a predator. No wonder the Japanese devoted a whole series of edible baits called Betanco to this.
Curly Tail occupies an almost key role in this list, demonstrating consistently high catchability both on rivers and in closed reservoirs. Curly Tail is structurally similar to a goby with a flattened body, fins and a twister tail. This design puts more emphasis on catching passive pikes, perches and walleyes, while Curly Tail is absolutely successful in active fish as well. Like other Betanco steers, Curly Tail pairs confidently with single hooks, doubles or triples, is good on swivel and jig heads. In view of the considerable area of the body, Curly Tail is prone to prolonged hangs in the thickness, giving the predator even more time to think. Uniform animation is extremely effective, but especially a smooth step with the lure striking the ground. At such moments, the resemblance of Curly Tail to a living prototype is simply fantastic, and the predator is unable to turn away.
