The jig head is a joint development between Intech and Japanese fishing hook giant Vanfook.

The main value of any jig head is the hook. Tournament DJ-Head 31 jig heads use a sharp and durable Japanese hook made from calibrated high carbon steel. It is thinner than analogues, has high elasticity and confidently withstands critical loads.

Exceptional sharpness and sharpening resistance are ensured by a special forged sting treatment - Forged Barb. Traditionally, top hooks have a PTFE anti-corrosion coating, which reliably protects the hook from rust even in an aggressive salty environment, and also improves penetrating properties, making it easier to break through the bony mouth of a predator.

To improve the implementation of bites, the DJ-Head 31 jig heads have an increased hook height and are great for equipping massive silicone lures.

Another important element of any jig head is the system for fixing the bait on it. The Intech Tournament DJ-Head 31 uses a tapered thin skirt. It securely fixes the bait without damaging the head part, even for delicate edible baits with a loose texture.
